Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31/07/2026
This policy explains what personal data Perform'Ace collects when you use the
site performace.fr and the app
app.performace.fr, why, for how long, and what your
rights are.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Perform'Ace, a French micro-enterprise, registered under number
107893216.
Contact: contact@performace.fr.
2. Data we collect
- Account: your email address (and, if you choose Google sign-in, the basic
information Google shares: email, name). Your password is handled securely by our
authentication provider and is never disclosed to us in clear text.
- Your videos: the clips you upload for analysis, together with the highlight cuts
and statistics generated from them.
- Usage data: video durations, analysis history, credits/hours used and purchased.
- Technical data: your IP address at the time your account is created (used only as
an anti-abuse safeguard for the free plan).
- Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your
card details; we only keep a record of the purchase (product, amount, transaction
identifier) as needed for billing.
3. Your videos: how they are processed
- Your videos are used only to run the automated analysis (ball, court, player and
stroke detection). Processing is carried out by automated systems; no systematic human
review takes place.
- The raw video file is deleted automatically about 24 hours after the analysis.
Only the highlight cuts and statistics are kept in your space.
- Human access to a video only happens on an exceptional and minimized basis: at your
request (support), to fix a technical issue, or where legally required.
- People filmed: your videos may show other people (e.g. your opponent). You are
responsible for making sure you have the right to film them and, where applicable, to
inform them. See also the Terms of use.
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Provide the analysis service and your personal space — performance of the contract.
- Manage your account and authentication — performance of the contract.
- Process purchases and issue receipts — performance of the contract and
legal obligation (accounting).
- Prevent fraud and abuse of the free plan — legitimate interest.
- Send you service emails (confirmation code, password reset) —
performance of the contract.
5. Retention periods
- Raw video: ~24 hours after the analysis.
- Highlight cuts and statistics: for as long as your account exists (or until you
delete them).
- Account: until you request its deletion.
- Billing data: kept for the legally required accounting retention period.
6. Hosting and sub-processors
We rely on providers that act as sub-processors:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, video storage, authentication, analysis
compute and sending service emails. Our data is hosted in the
European Union (Ireland, eu-west-1) region.
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe acts as "Merchant of Record" for purchases).
Stripe may transfer data outside the EU under its own contractual safeguards.
- Google Analytics — web-app audience measurement, only if you consent. Navigation
data used for this measurement may be processed by Google under its safeguards and privacy
policy.
Meta Platforms Ireland — Meta Pixel used only with your consent to measure visits
and registrations originating from our Facebook and Instagram campaigns, attribute their
results, and improve campaign effectiveness. Meta may process this data under its own
safeguards and privacy policy.
7. Cookies and local storage
The app uses your browser's local storage only for essential technical purposes (keeping
your session, preferences) and to remember your tracker choice. With your consent, we use
Google Analytics to measure our audience and the Meta Pixel to measure the
effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram campaigns. These trackers are denied by default:
refusing them does not prevent use of the service. They may record page views, the start of a
registration and successful account creation; the app does not send your email address to Meta.
You can accept, reject or withdraw your choice at any time with the app's “Cookies” button.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure,
restriction, objection and portability of your data. In particular, you can:
- delete a video and its cuts directly from the app;
- request the deletion of your account and data by writing to
contact@performace.fr.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL
(cnil.fr).
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Videos and data are stored in a private space,
accessible only after authentication. Administrative access is limited and logged.
10. Minors
The service is not intended for people under 15. If you believe a minor has provided us with
data without authorization, contact us for deletion.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page.
